Exclusive Ranch Homes Built with the Finest Materials.
Each home is individually built with the finest of authentic materials, from the wood beams to the rock walls. Local craftsmen and artisans build each home giving it a personal touch. It is then finished off with modern state-of-the art appliances, fixtures and interior design. The homes hold this high quality and yet no two are alike. Each home has its own Ralph Lauren contemporary western look.
The design was accomplished by a consortium of western talent. TLC (Territorial Land Company) partners all added their flair as Colorado and Utah residents that have lived the spirit of the West and know what entices our senses. Billy Joe Griffith grew up ranching and cowboying and knows whats authentic and whats a City Slicker looking like a Dude. The other partners have long enjoyed life in ski areas, adventure towns and a little city life. Sheri has lived in Moab for over 20 years. They bring a touch of all those venues to Coyote Run. Well-known Telluride architect Ken Alexander finished the plan with his magic touch of mountain design.
Outdoor living is exceptional in the redrocks with 9 months to be outside. To live the outdoor life, the homes are specifically designed include two rocking chair style porches and a large private courtyard/patio for BBQs, hot tubs and sunsets.
Coyote Run sits right on the Golf Course. Expansive greens and towering cottonwood trees contrast the jetting red rock spires. This is the only true golf-in/golf-out community. Sitting on the 9th hole, its a 3-minute walk to the clubhouse. Moabs municipal course has been profiled in many magazines for its incredible setting, diverse greens and challenging design. The Course is open all year around. With 350 days of sunshine, you can enjoy the sport anytime the spirit moves you.
The Golf Course and Coyote Run sit close to BLM national proposed wilderness land. Within 5 minutes you can be hiking, biking, jeeping or horseback riding. The hardest thing about living in Moab is deciding what toy to take out for the day.
What is Territorial Design?
Territorial designed homes blend with the environment because they are built from local and natural materials. They are the color and texture of the land.
Their design is inviting. The living space is open and expansive. The dining room flows to the living room and out to the courtyard. The fireplace is enjoyed from many vantage points. The bedrooms are large and each has a private bathroom.
The history of Territorial design dates to the 1800s. Homesteaders developed a style of building that is still honored today. Their homes were made from local materials like timber and rock that was honed by hand. The towering Ponderosa Pine trees were felled and shaped. These were sturdy homes that had to withstand extreme weather, marauding bandits, and long lives.
Our homes carry the same commitment of longevity and quality. They also carry the look that is never out-of-style, authentic, 100% Western.
Territorial Land Company prides itself on the blending of the environment in each home built. They are built to last. We balance the 1800s look and strength with modern day materials to provide long lasting, maintenance free living. Then we add state-of-the-art mechanical workings and appliances to make western living comfortable and fun.
